Acquisition of the constitutive assets of Champagne firm POMMERY & GRENO through the company POMMERY S.A., owned 66.5% by the company VRANKEN-POMMERY MONOPOLE and 33.5% by the financial investors steered by the regional bank, the Caisse Régionale du Crédit Agricole Mutuel du Nord-Est.
Increase (December 2002) in the capital of VRANKEN-POMMERY MONOPOLE by a total of €26.3 million in the context of the POMMERY refinancing operation.

Court approved take over of the Bricout Delbeck Group's assets, namely:
- an industrial tool adapted to the resumed activity,
- the estate of over 5 hectares,
- a stock of several million bottles,
- 88 employees (including 62 sales representatives),
- a portfolio of brands.
Acquisition of the Canameira property in the Upper-Douro, which, in the longer term, will ultimately represent 40 hectares of category A wines (compared with 20 hectares under cultivation to date). |
